The Herrendorf Family Foundation proudly hosted the inaugural We Got You Leadership Retreat in Chicago, IL, in May 2022. This groundbreaking event was the first of its kind, uniting youth scholars supported by HFF, along with its community partners and contributing founder organizations. Since then, HFF has continued the tradition, hosting the conference annually for its scholars and partners in California and Vancouver, BC.

Moms Offering More (MOM) is a community-driven initiative with support from the Oprah Winfrey Charitable Foundation, bringing together like-minded women dedicated to supporting historically underserved youth and families in the United States and Canada. MOM goes beyond traditional philanthropic endeavors, serving as a source of hope, offering a hand-up rather than a handout.

Connecting Leaders Internationally through Virtual Engagement, by the Herrendorf Family Foundation, with support by the Oprah Winfrey Charitable Foundation was launched as a pilot project in January 2021 to bring forward inspiring youth leaders, from a selection of scholarship and bursary recipients supported by Herrendorf Family Foundation, to meet monthly with global mentors virtually.

It’s The Little Things is an exclusive opportunity to engage directly with our Herrendorf Family Foundation/Oprah Winfrey Leadership Scholars on a scheduled basis over the course of the year. These engagements will be facilitated by our HFF staff, and hand picked to ensure effective and intentional mentorship opportunities.
