• Kasondra Herrendorf Cohen

    CEO

Born and raised in Vancouver, BC, Canada, Kasondra Herrendorf Cohen is a third-generation philanthropist, VP and CEO of Herrendorf Family Foundation Inc., and founder and CEO of Face of Today Foundation. Learning from her own mental health journey, and experiencing the sudden loss of her father Hershel Herrendorf, Kasondra dedicated herself to impact work, building international non-profit programs that focus on wrap-around support, scholarships and bursaries. Through her trust-based grant-making and stewardship, new programs are addressing social gaps while supporting young leaders and families facing barriers. As a result, students and families can thrive through both educational opportunities and meaningful social and community engagement. Becoming CEO at HFF in 2019, Kasondra's change-making leadership enabled her to proudly facilitate over 3.5 million USD in giving and direct program development. These efforts have impacted the offerings of partner organizations like Oprah Winfrey Charitable Foundation, FIDF, Chicago Bulls Charities, Chicago White Sox Ace Program, Born This Way Foundation, and more. She has also successfully overseen the development and opening of community-based resource centres in Haifa, Israel and Vancouver, Canada.
